BIT Scholarshipfor International Students From KoreanUniversity
2014-2015
BeijingInstitute of Technology (BIT) is offering up to 10 CSC scholarships for students coming from each Korean Universityto pursue Master or PhD degree programs in BIT.
Overview
Eachscholarship awarded will cover costs of tuition of BIT, accommodation on campusand food costs, insurance, teaching materials. (The international air fare isnot included.) The scholarship will be offered to the students during theirstay in Beijing for the period of the Master programs (2 years) and PhDprograms (4 years).
Requireddocuments
All required applicationmaterials shall be sent to BIT by April 15, 2014forregistration in September and include:
1. Curriculum vitae (one page);
2. Statement of Purpose clearlyindicating preferred technical work or experience and academic background;
3. Two letters of recommendationby university professors;
4. Bachelor degree diploma forMaster degree applicants and Master degree diploma for Ph.D degree applicants
5. Transcripts of the highestdegree (English version with signature and/or seal by the student’s homeuniversity)
Application
Step 1 - Applicants need to register on http://laihua.csc.edu.cn,the Agent No. of BIT is 10007. Fill out all required areas and submit itonline.
Step 2 - Prepare all paper applicationdocuments and send the scanned copy to the admission officer by email listedbelow.
Step 3 – Send the original copy of tothe Office of International Students at BIT after receiving the notice from theAdmission Officers.
Admission
1. Allapplications will be answered by the Office of International Students by emailin 24 hours upon the receipt of the online application or email enquiry.
2. Allapplications will be reviewed by BIT first, qualified application will be sentto the CSC for the final review. The final decision will be announced by CSC inJune each year.
3. BITwill send the results to the applicants by email in 5 working days upon thereceipt of the CSC’s final decision.
4. BITwill send the admission letter and visa documents to the applicants by mail intwo weeks after the email notice.
