Summer Institutes and Programs at University of Pennsylvania
Mr. James Riedel, Executive Director for Unviersity of Pennsylvania's Penn ELP Summer Institutes, will be visiting Seoul National University to hold an information session for SNU students who are interested in spending a summer abroad at UPenn.

About Penn ELP Summer Institutes(Non-credit bearing)
- 4 week summer institute programs (www.sas.upenn.edu/elp)
1) Institute for Academic Studies (IAS)
: Through a core course and two electives, students develop the language skills to intelligently
discuss and engage with contemporary topics in various disciplines
2) Institute for Business Communications (IBC)
: Students engage in courses that cover a variety of real world business issues and topics designed
to improve their business knowledge and communication skills, and better prepare them to
achieve their professional goals.
3) Institute for MBA Preparation (IMP)
Students participate in courses designed to help master the necessary skills for MBA programs in
the United States as well as learn about the MBA admissions process.
