Global Human Development Program at Georgetown University
We are delighted to inform you that the Global Human Development Program at Georgetown University in Washington, DC will be offering a two-year master's degree that is designed to prepare the next generation of development professionals to work with public sector agencies, private businesses, and non-profit organizations involved in international development. Scholarships will be offered for students from Asia who are interested in a career in international development.
The program includes:
- Funded international summer internship
- Semester-long internship in Washington, DC
- Capstone consulting project for client of choice
The scholarship will be awarded based on the overall strength of the application with a deadline of January 15. There is a secondary application deadline of April 1 for applicants who do not want to be considered for scholarships.
As GHD is a practitioner-focused program, competitive applicants should have at least one to two years of experience working in international development or a related field. All applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree prior to proposed enrollment. Additionally, please keep in mind that all applicants who studied at an English-language university must submit GRE or GMAT scores with their application; applicants who studied at a university where the primary language of instruction was not English do not have to submit GRE/GMAT scores but must submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
