4th ASEF(Asia-Europe Foundation) Young Leaders Summit
The ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS) is the official youth event of ASEM Summits. In support of the 13th ASEM Summit (ASEM13) hosted by the Government of the Royal Kingdom of Cambodia in June 2021, ASEF and its local & international partners have prepared a hybrid project with collaborative program elements taking place virtually, in Cambodia as well as across ASEM countries.
1. Eligibility criteria
- Be a citizen of any of the 51 Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Partner countries
- Be a student, entrepreneur, academic or young professional between the ages of 18-30
- Have a strong command of English (written and verbal)
2. Timings?
10-month long youth leadership programme (Monday, 22 February 2021 until the end of November 2021)
- Knowledge Building: Mon, 22 February 2021 - Fri, 28 May 2021, Virtual
- Youth Summit at the 13th ASEM Summit: Sat, 29 May 2021 - Wed, 2 June 2021, On-site in Cambodia/Virtual*
- Leadership in Action: June - November 2021, Virtual & On-site in local ASEM communities
3. Where? Virtual Program
4. Topic? Sustainable Development in a Post-COVID-19 World
5. Cost? There are no participation or registration fees. This is a fully funded project, including the issuance of certificates.
