Warm greetings from National Taiwan University.

 

We are pleased to announce our NTU Plus Academy 2024 Summer+ Programs. 

By offering a variety of topic-based short-term programs, the NTU Plus Academy (https://oia.ntu.edu.tw/short-term-programs/programs) enables students from all around the world to gain international experience and explore different cultures. Most short-term programs are held in the summer, and I would like to highlight that Chinese Studies offers throughout the year in quarter-based terms, including winter, spring, and summer terms.

 

Please feel free to look into each program outlined below and find the one that best fits students’ needs and interests.

1. Chinese Studies: 

The language course is designed to meet the needs of students at all levels, from beginners to those who have prior experience with the Chinese language.

2. Research: 

For the research course, students could choose NTU Plus Academy Faculty from the Faculty List with whom they would like to work based on their study goals and/or interests.

3. Natural Sciences:

  • Biodiversity, Agriculture, and Culture of Taiwan
  • Neuroscience LAB Program
  • Developmental Biology

 4. Social Sciences:

  • Law and Money
  • NTU-UCLA Summer Institute on American Society

 5. Engineering:

  • Emerging Technology in Civil & Building Engineering: BIM-enabled Digital & Green Transformation

 

Items 1-2 are organized by the Office of International Affairs, while items 3-5 programs are organized by different colleges/departments at NTU, and students can find contact persons/coordinators via the website to learn more about course details.

 

The 2024 Summer DM is enclosed for your reference.

The application will start on February 20, 2024. Students are advised to submit their applications through NTU's portal.
