The 1st Walailak University Cultural Camp 2017
The 1st Walailak University Cultural Camp 2017 will be held between 25 June - 1 July 2017 at Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and Samui Island, Surathani Province, Southern Thailand. Our Camp's official website can be viewed at http://iao.wu.ac.th/?page_id=817.
The Cultural Camp aims to promote a global students’ network among over 80 international participants. Here, the participants will engage and enjoy with one another many exciting activities. They will exchange the cultures of their countries and share knowledge about their societies. They will also explore many historical attractions in Nakhon Si Thgammarat Province and beautiful Koh Samui, which is one of the most famous island in Thailand.
The theme of the Camp is “In Remembrance of H.M. the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej” who is revered in Thailand and internationally recognized for his hard work and dedication for Thai people. The participants will have an opportunity to visit a number of Royal Initiatives during the program.
Two nominated students from SNU will be sponsored accommodation, food and beverage, transportation, and entrance fee by Walailak University. And students will be responsible for their airfare and insurance cost.
